We are problem solvers who think creatively, act boldly and learn from our mistakes.

Programs and Initiatives

Dealing with youth in schools as well as tertiary institutions, our educational activities target youth mostly, and specifically, from remote and rural areas. They are facilitated by our vehicle called RURAL STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (RSA) which is a student chapter whose main purpose of existence is to develop, organize and promote ideas and programmes that will enhance adequate development of the rural students either solely or in collaboration with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community based organizations, internationaland/or foreign agencies. That is what RSA is responsible for.

Rural Career Exhibition Tour
Partnering with the Department of Basic and Higher Education as well as Science and Technology, RCET is an outreach initiative by rural students undertaken with the schools across KZN province and beyond where they come from. The program entails subject choice and information on career fields available for each chosen subject stream. Taking place from April to August annually, our RSA members from tertiary institutions in South Africa visits rural schools to share information on tertiary access and success programs available at their respective universities.

Rez-Tour Motivation
Bringing all residence students of each institution under one roof, Rez-Tour Motivation is the premier educational visit on inspiring, energizing and influencing youth. Also targeting first year students in general who are from
remote rural areas, Rez-TourĀ® is a mass media campaign aimed at bridging the gap between higher and tertiary education by ensuring a smooth transition through an approach that is centred on self-awareness, moral and youth
regeneration. It is an initiative forging an ethical, goal orientated and results driven society.
